The Smoky Mountains are my happy place, I love volleyball and I've played since I was 11, Tower of Terror is one of my favorite rides, and one of my favorite reads is Magnolia Journal by Joanna Gaines (LOVE her).
BMP, at it's roots, began in 2008.
It began behind a rickety table where I'd serve up lemonade to my neighbors, desperately trying to save up for my next disposable camera. I was 8 years old and snapping pictures of anything and everything in my little world. My favorite subjects at the time being my friends, family, nature and my toys!
Fast forward to now I'm a University of Florida journalism graduate who craves to document moments, strike emotion, and help people tell (and cherish) the stories of their lives.
If I'm not having a photoshoot or editing, you can find me at the pool or beach, watching YouTube (I'm currently very invested in a 110-year-old cottage renovation series), or spending time with my boyfriend, friends, and family! I also spend a concerning amount of time in the Starbucks drive thru line...
Above all else I'm a very
family-oriented person.
I love looking through my families old photographs and seeing how they used to dress and what cars they drove. Also how they styled their hair, what the world looked liked around them, all of it. I'm obsessed with all the details that are packed into pictures.
My love for my family and storytelling translates into my work. When I take your picture, I'm not only shooting with the intent of capturing who you are, but also to create timeless photographs that can be treasured by you and your loved ones for years to come.
Helping people capture their precious moments to remember them forever will always be a great joy to me.
